Quartz grits and quartz powder

Industrial quartz from Sri Lankan vein deposits, processed dry and sized to your order. Whether a grade suits your application depends on its particle size and the chemical profile on the batch COA.

Quartz grits

Controlled particle-size fractions

Vein quartz is crushed and screened into graded fractions. Dry sorting removes visibly contaminated material before the grits are bagged.

Grits screened to sand sizes are often sold as quartz sand or silica sand. Ours is crushed and screened vein quartz, not natural or dredged sand, sized to your specification.

Applications

  • Glass manufacturing
  • Ceramics
  • Refractories
  • Foundry
  • Abrasives
  • Engineered stone
  • Water filtration
  • Industrial applications
  • Feedstock for further purification

Suitability for a specific application depends on particle-size distribution and the chemical and elemental specification. Check the batch COA against your own specification.

Quartz powder

High-purity industrial silica in custom mesh and micron grades

Finely milled quartz powder, made to the particle-size requirements you set, for industrial applications and as feedstock for further purification.

Applications

  • Ceramics
  • Refractories
  • Specialty glass
  • Industrial fillers
  • Foundry applications
  • Abrasives
  • Engineered materials
  • Controlled-purity silica applications
  • Feedstock for further purification

Suitability for photovoltaic, semiconductor, optical or other highly controlled applications depends on the final elemental impurity profile, particle-size distribution and downstream qualification requirements.

Set the size range you need

Move both jaws along the scale. The range goes into your request, and we check it against what our dry screening and milling can produce.

100 µm to 1 mm

For higher-purity applications

Where your application needs lower impurity levels, our material can go to your own purification process or a qualified processor. The final grade is set by that processing and your qualification.

Send us your specification.

Tell us the application, particle size, chemical limits, monthly volume and destination port. We reply with what we can supply consistently.
