How we process

Our operation is dry and physical: controlled size reduction, screening, sorting and physical separation of naturally high-purity Sri Lankan vein quartz. The objective is to produce consistent industrial quartz feedstock while maintaining control over particle size and impurity levels.

  1. Selective mining

Quartz is extracted selectively, leaving the surrounding host rock behind, to limit contamination at the source.

  2. Crushing and milling

Controlled size reduction, set by the product ordered. Grits are crushed; powder is milled further to mesh and micron grades.

  3. Screening and classification

Crushed material is screened into controlled particle-size fractions.

  4. Sorting

Visibly contaminated or unsuitable material is sorted out.

  5. Dry physical separation

Where applicable, dry physical separation reduces mineral contaminants and improves consistency.

  6. Quality control

Representative samples are tested for SiO2 content, impurity profile and particle-size distribution. The results go on the batch Certificate of Analysis.

What comes out

Industrial quartz feedstock with controlled particle size and documented impurity levels.

If you need higher purity, the material needs further purification and qualification after it leaves us. That step sits with you or your processor, and it is what decides whether a lot is suitable for photovoltaic, optical or semiconductor use.
